Role description
β€’ Design & Develop laC: Write, test, and maintain Terraform configurations to deploy and manage Azure resources (compute, networking, storage, AKS, databases, and monitoring solutions). β€’ Infrastructure Automation: Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of Azure services using Terraform modules and workspaces. β€’ CI/CD Integration: Implement Terraform pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for automated deployments. β€’ State Management & Security: Manage Terraform state files with Azure Storage (remote state, locking, RBAC, and encryption) while ensuring secure and compliant deployments. β€’ Governance & Best Practices: Apply Azure Policies, RBAC, and security best practices through Terraform templates. β€’ Collaboration: Partner with cloud architects, DevOps engineers, and security teams to design scalable and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure. β€’ Documentation: Create playbooks, knowledge base articles, and reusable Terraform modules for team-wide adoption. β€’ Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (HCL)-writing, testing, and deploying modules. β€’ Proven knowledge of Azure cloud services (ARM, VNets, VMs, AKS, App Services, Storage, Azure Monitor, Key Vault, etc.). β€’ Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab). β€’ Proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration. β€’ Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation. β€’ Understanding of infrastructure governance, RBAC, and security controls in Azure.
