Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Test Assurance Lead to provide independent quality assurance oversight for a large-scale Contact Centre migration programme. This role will be responsible for governing testing activities, reviewing vendor testing approaches, assessing risks and quality concerns, and ensuring that all testing phases are completed successfully and in accordance with defined quality standards. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, technical teams, and programme leadership to drive testing governance, quality assurance, and delivery readiness throughout the migration lifecycle.
Responsibilities
β’ Provide independent quality assurance oversight for the Contact Centre migration programme.
β’ Review and challenge vendor test strategies, plans, schedules, methodologies, and coverage.
β’ Ensure appropriate testing is conducted across regression testing, network configuration validation, disaster recovery validation, backup validation, call recording validation, integration testing, rollback testing, recovery testing, and end-to-end business process validation.
β’ Assess testing risks, coverage gaps, quality concerns, and programme readiness.
β’ Recommend mitigation strategies and quality improvements to programme leadership.
β’ Establish and maintain test entry criteria, exit criteria, quality gates, and sign-off standards.
β’ Define and baseline test packs, test scenarios, and traceability matrices.
β’ Validate testing evidence, completion reporting, and overall testing quality.
β’ Monitor defect lifecycles and enforce Priority 1 and Priority 2 zero-tolerance governance standards.
β’ Facilitate defect triage sessions, quality reviews, governance meetings, and stakeholder discussions.
β’ Collaborate with business users, technical teams, vendors, programme leadership, and client stakeholders.
β’ Provide assurance reporting, programme status updates, risk assessments, and escalation management.
β’ Ensure business sign-offs, test completion certifications, and deployment readiness approvals are obtained.
β’ Govern and support Image Build Validation, Technical Validation, Test Readiness Quality Gates, User Acceptance Testing, Defect Management, Exit Approval Governance, and Programme Closure activities.
β’ Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives following programme completion.
Qualifications
β’ Proven experience in Test Assurance, Test Governance, Test Management, or Quality Assurance leadership roles within complex enterprise programmes.
β’ Strong experience providing independent testing oversight across large-scale transformation, migration, or technology delivery initiatives.
β’ Demonstrated experience reviewing and governing vendor-led testing strategies and execution.
β’ Strong understanding of regression testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, disaster recovery testing, rollback testing, and end-to-end business process validation.
β’ Experience defining quality gates, testing governance frameworks, traceability matrices, and sign-off processes.
β’ Proven ability to manage defect governance, risk assessments, escalation management, and programme assurance reporting.
β’ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence business, technical, and vendor teams.
β’ Experience facilitating governance forums, defect triage meetings, and quality assurance reviews.
β’ Ability to assess programme readiness and provide recommendations regarding deployment approval and testing completion.
β’ Experience within the insurance or financial services sector is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with infrastructure migration assurance frameworks is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing governance, quality gates, and testing best practices is preferred.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
β’ Ability to work effectively within complex, fast-paced programme environments while maintaining a focus on quality and risk management.
