Role description
Responsibilities Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Test & Validation Project Lead. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Coordinate and maintain the Test Plan for each wave in partnership with workstream teams, covering multiple SIT cycles ITC1, ITC2, Security SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing milestones β€’ Facilitate alignment on testing entry and exit criteria, test data volume assumptions, and environment readiness across all workstreams β€’ Track and communicate testing activities against the overall program plan and wave deployment schedule β€’ Coordinate the Security SIT cycle, ensuring roles and authorizations are validated in QAS after functional configuration and before UAT entry β€’ Reinforce testing principles across workstream teams: business-driven validation, defect resolution before phase progression, and formal sign-off at each quality gate β€’ Track progress across all testing phases (ITC1, ITC2, ITC3 for Waves 2 & 3, UAT, Regression) for each wave, flagging risks and blockers to Finance Domain Lead β€’ Monitor defect resolution rates across workstreams, ensuring P1/P2 defects are resolved before UAT entry (=95% target) and UAT pass rates meet the =98% threshold β€’ Coordinate test data readiness across mock migration cycles, ensuring data loads are aligned to testing phase requirements β€’ Track external partner integration testing (ITC3 for Waves 2 & 3), coordinating with Salesforce, Bloomberg, Ariba, SuccessFactors, and other third-party teams β€’ Maintain and update the centralized testing tracker and defect log, ensuring real-time visibility into test execution status, open defects, and wave readiness across all workstreams β€’ Monitor regression testing activities to ensure global configuration changes do not impact the live US S/4HANA instance β€’ Track quality gate readiness for each wave's Go/No-Go decision, ensuring all criteria are met prior to production cutover Requirements β€’ 15+ years of experience in SAP testing coordination or test management, with exposure to at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA migration preferably in ECC to S/4 migration β€’ Solid understanding of SAP testing phases (SIT/ITC, UAT, Regression) and quality gate criteria sufficient to track progress and identify risks β€’ Familiarity with SAP test environments (Dev, QAS, UAT/Pre-Prod, Production) and the relationship between data migration mock loads and testing cycles β€’ Strong understanding of defect management processes and entry/exit criteria for each testing phase β€’ Proven ability to coordinate across multiple cross-functional teams - including IT, business users, and third-party vendors - in a large, complex program environment β€’ Strong project management and communication skills; Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and Steering Committees β€’ Proficiency with JIRA, SmartSheets, and Google Workspace for tracking and reporting β€’ Experience with Ariba, and SuccessFactors The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
