Role description
Weβre looking for a skilled Tool Developer / Data Scientist / Data Analyst to create innovative, data-driven solutions that empower the Systems Product Team (SPT) to successfully execute critical product bring-up activities. Youβll play a key role in transforming complex data into actionable insights by building intuitive, visually compelling dashboards that support strategic decision-making at the executive level.
Pay Range: $60/hr. - $75/hr.; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
What Youβll Do:
β’ Develop and maintain robust tools for use by engineering and program management teams, streamlining workflows and boosting productivity.
β’ Work extensively with raw log data from sources like SPLUNK, SAP, and other databases.
β’ Analyze diverse datasets related to engineering execution, product bring-up, supply chain, and production planning, including:
β’ Build plans
β’ New Product Introduction (NPI) supply, demand, and allocation
β’ Factory shop floor and test data
β’ Lab asset management data
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional tool teams to design and deploy automated workflows and insightful dashboards that drive operational excellence.
Core Skills & Qualifications:
β’ Strong programming expertise in data manipulation, analysis, and automation, primarily using Python or similar languages.
β’ Hands-on experience with data processing libraries such as pandas and numpy.
β’ Proficiency with data visualization tools and libraries including matplotlib and plotly.
β’ Proven ability in big data analytics and dashboard development.
β’ Familiarity with industry-standard platforms like Splunk, Tableau, or Power BI.
β’ Solid SQL skills with a strong understanding of data modeling principles.
β’ Experience with data processing pipelines and frameworks such as Spark, Kafka, or equivalents is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
β’ Background in statistical analysis techniques, including regression, hypothesis testing, and probability distributions.
β’ Expertise in data preparation processes such as ETL and data transformation.
β’ Experience with cybersecurity analytics or operational data reporting.
β’ Track record of building and automating dashboards tailored for both executive and technical audiences.
