Transaction Data Analyst

Job Title: Transaction Data Analyst Pay Rate: $28/HR Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension) Location: Buffalo Grove, IL (Hybrid -2/3 days in the office) Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM This position is for the Building Automation division. We are looking for a Sales/Supply Chain Data Analyst who supports Supply Chain activities through analysis, reporting, and process improvement. This role assists with routine and non-routine financial tasks. Working with finance and operational teams to improve financial processes and support accurate and timely reporting for business stakeholders. • This will involve analyzing large datasets for inconsistencies, identifying priority issues, and driving resolution by engaging with cross-functional teams in the organization. • This position will monitor financial and operational processes and support accurate and timely reporting for business stakeholders. • A willingness to develop business understanding and contribute to the team effort is a plus. • The ability to generate ideas and drive improvements to processes, business methods, or technical components is desired. Requirements: • Associate Degree • 2+ years of experience. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis). • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and experience or interest in data analytics, reporting tools, or automation (e.g., Power BI) is preferred. • Ability to review transactions (sales orders, financial transactions)
