This includes comprehensive experience with both cloud-based (SaaS) and on-premises deployment models, with particular emphasis on architecting highly available systems that meet stringent uptime requirements (99.9%+ SLA). Candidates should have substantial experience developing real-time monitoring solutions with comprehensive alerting capabilities, including system health dashboards and automated notification systems. Proven ability to design and implement computer-aided dispatch systems is essential, with specific experience in dynamic routing, real-time status visualization, and integration with passenger information systems. A strong background in vehicle tracking technologies is required, including expertise in high-frequency location data processing, dead reckoning methodologies, and real-time data feed implementations (GTFS-RT). Experience developing yard management solutions with asset tracking capabilities and maintenance workflow integration is necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience developing predictive analytics systems for transportation applications, including real-time arrival prediction algorithms and data validation processes. Demonstrated experience with passenger information systems is required, including digital signage, mobile messaging platforms, and content management systems. Candidates must show proficiency in API development and system integration, with experience implementing robust security models and access control frameworks. Technical expertise should include substantial experience with transportation-specific software platforms, real-time data standards, and cloud infrastructure solutions. Familiarity with public transit operations and regulatory compliance requirements is expected. The candidate should be able to demonstrate successful implementation of similar systems in complex transportation environments.
