Role description
Key Responsibilities
Architect and build Java-based IAM microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Security, and J2EE standards.
Lead end-to-end implementation of Transmit Security solutions (Journeys, AuthScript, WebSDK) integrated into Java ecosystems.
Design and optimize secure authentication and authorization layers using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML 2.0.
Develop and secure RESTful APIs with JWT, token introspection, and API gateway enforcement.
Implement passwordless and adaptive authentication (FIDO2/WebAuthn, behavioral biometrics, and RBA engines).
Own token lifecycle management, session security, audit logging, and compliance reporting.
Build scalable identity services deployed on Kubernetes/Docker with automated CI/CD pipelines.
Integrate Java IAM services with fraud detection, behavioral analytics, and SIEM platforms.
Provide technical leadership across Java and security teams, including architecture governance and code quality standards.
Lead root-cause analysis of authentication failures, fraud events, and security incidents.
Define and enforce Java IAM best practices aligned with Zero Trust and NIST frameworks.

Banking, digital payments, healthcare platforms, or insurance systems
Large-scale CIAM or consumer authentication products
Regulatory environments (PCI-DSS, SOX, HIPAA)
Qualifications
Bachelorβs or Masterβs in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Security
12β15+ years of core Java development in enterprise environments
8+ years building IAM platforms with deep hands-on architecture responsibility
Demonstrated delivery of Transmit Security implementations in production
Proven experience leading Java-based identity transformations
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence engineering, security, and business stakeholders
