Role description
Job Title: Treasury Data Analyst
Pay Rate: $40 - $41/hr.
Location: New York, NY
Contract Duration: 12 months
Shift: 8am to 5pm M-F
Summary
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Treasury Services team to support our billing transformation initiative. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in data analysis, data mapping, business process improvements, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance the overall client and operational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Analyze, interpret, and map complex data sets related to billing transactions to support system migration and integration
β’ Collects and defines requirements, translates into functional design, test planning, and user documentation processes
β’ Supports testing of new or enhanced applications and/or systems. Tasks include case development, requirement traceability analysis, test preparation, script writing, and functional test execution
β’ Documents all project takeaways and coordinates with impacted stakeholders to address and resolve any issue
β’ Assist with project management for selected (sub)projects
β’ Act as the go between the product/business and technology teams
β’ Identify automation and/or efficiency opportunities
β’ Oversee and manage any initiatives aimed at advancing the project.
β’ Develop training materials as required. Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business Management or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
β’ 4-6 years of experience in a business and data analysis environment required
β’ Demonstrated success in planning and managing programs involving multiple sub-projects.
β’ Experience with Treasury Services products and services, such as cash management, liquidity, trade finance, billing and electronic banking, is a plus.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Day to day responsibilities
β’ Conduct data analysis
β’ Work with stakeholders to define and document requirements
β’ Host project meetings to resolve outstanding deliverables
β’ Follow up with stakeholders on outstanding deliverables
β’ Write user stories and log JIRA
β’ Develop training material
β’ Attend and participate in project calls
