Role description
The ideal candidate will support project delivery by contributing to requirements analysis, solution design, system setup and development activities within Treasury domain to facilitate bank statement and payment flows to/from Treasury Workstation. The role includes creating custom store procedures and implementing code changes to meet project requirements as well as support testing and go-live activities.
The role is 3 month contract with a possible extension!
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Analyze business and technical requirements related to treasury processes, with a focus on bank statement ingestion and conversion (example: MT940 format).
β’ Configure, develop and maintain code changes within Treasury domain for bank statement parsing, transformation, and standardization
β’ Configure and implement data mapping, validation, and transformation logic for various bank file formats
β’ Develop and maintain automation scripts or macros (e.g., Excel VBA) to support data validation, analysis, or operational processes.
β’ Follow best practices and technical standards for software development and system implementation.
β’ Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and project specifications.
β’ Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, technical guidelines and operational support instructions.
Qualifications (must):
β’ Bachelorβs degree in information technology or software engineering, or related field.
β’ 4+ years of experience in Java development (preferably in financial systems).
β’ Experience with macros/scripting (e.g., Excel VBA or similar automation tools).
β’ Strong skills in parsing, data transformation, and file processing (CSV, XML, TXT).
β’ Experience with system integrations (file-based, APIs, batch processing)
β’ Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills.
β’ Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
β’ Proactive, delivery-focused mindset.
β’ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications (good to have):
β’ Hands-on experience with bank statement processing and formats (e.g., MT940, MT942, CAMT).
β’ Understanding of SWIFT standards and message structure.
β’ Working knowledge of financial processes (e.g., cash management, accounting principles) is an advantage
