Job Brief
The Treasury Manager will play a key role in developing and maintaining Treasury reporting, ensuring data integrity and providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced Excel proficiency and knowledge of Treasury management systems. Experience with data visualisation tools is a plus. This role will suit someone who is a detail-oriented individual with a passion for data/modelling and a strong understanding of Treasury operations derived through experience working within a Treasury function.
Please note this is a 6-month FTC role.
What You'll Do
β’ The role will report directly to the Head of Treasury, but will also benefit from direct exposure to our VP Finance and Senior Management team. This role will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
β’ Reporting and Analysis
β’ Responsibility: Provide timely and insightful reporting on key Treasury metrics.
β’ Tasks:
β’ Generate daily, weekly, and monthly Treasury reports.
β’ Develop dashboards and visualisations to effectively communicate Treasury performance.
β’ Analyse trends and variances, providing commentary and recommendations.
β’ Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested by management
β’ Forecasting
β’ Responsibility: Develop and maintain accurate short-term and long-term forecasts.
β’ Tasks:
β’ Gather inputs from various sources (e.g. Commercial, FP&A and Operations teams).
β’ Develop and refine detailed forecasting models including modelling for ad hoc scenario analysis, forecasting of liquidity requirements and IRR positions.
β’ Analyse historical data to identify trends and seasonality.
β’ Monitor actual cash flows against forecasts and investigate variances
β’ Treasury Data Management
β’ Responsibility: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of Treasury data.
β’ Tasks:
β’ Develop and maintain a robust Treasury data governance framework.
β’ Implement data quality checks and validation procedures.
β’ Reconcile Treasury data with other financial systems.
β’ Oversee data migration and system upgrades related to Treasury.
β’ Collaborate with IT to ensure data security and compliance.
β’ System Development and Enhancement
β’ Responsibility: Contribute to the development and enhancement of Treasury management systems and reporting.
β’ Tasks:
β’ Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
β’ Evaluate and implement new Treasury technology solutions.
β’ Provide training and support to the Treasury team.
β’ Collaborate with IT on system upgrades and maintenance.
β’ Compliance and Controls
β’ Responsibility: Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
β’ Tasks:
β’ Adhere to Treasury policies and procedures.
β’ Participate in internal and external audits.
β’ Identify and mitigate Treasury risks.
β’ Stay abreast of changes in Treasury regulations.

Experience & Skills
β’ Essential:
β’ Demonstrable experience building and operating complex Treasury models.
β’ Strong understanding and experience in Treasury operations, including cash management, investments and forecasting.
β’ Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
β’ Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data sets, interpret financial data and identify trends and anomalies.
β’ Hands-on experience with Treasury management systems (TMS) and Risk management systems (RMS).
β’ Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.
β’ Desirable:
β’ Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI).
β’ Experience with SQL or other database query languages
β’ Experience with regulatory reporting requirements related to Treasury.
β’ Professional certification or working towards one (e.g., ACT, CertBALM)

Working Policy
We have a hybrid policy that includes 2 days from our London office and 3 from home. If the role states it is either hybrid or remote candidates must be based within the UK.
