Job Title: uDeploy Engineer Job Summary: • We are looking for an experienced uDeploy Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. In this hybrid role, you will lead the setup, configuration, and upgrades of IBM UrbanCode Deploy (uDeploy) at a client site, while supporting deployment automation and environment management. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable stepping into a role previously held by a highly experienced engineer. Key Responsibilities: • Lead installation, architecture, and upgrades of uDeploy at our client's location. • Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless deployment processes. • Provide occasional support during nights/weekends, primarily on Monday evenings. • Assist with risk mitigation and cost reduction strategies. • Fill the gap left by a former engineer with extensive uDeploy experience. Skills Required: • 4+ years of experience with IBM UrbanCode Deploy (uDeploy) including software upgrades. • Proficiency in installation, configuration, and administration of uDeploy. • Coding skills in Groovy, Ansible, Python, etc. • Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Helm for deploying application services. • Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform. • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
