Role description
Our software development team builds secure, end-to-end solutions. We are looking for a talented UI / UX Engineer for a 6-month contract position in our Seattle office. The UI / UX Engineer will lead the design and front-end implementation for a website/mobile development project. We’re seeking someone with a proven track record of solving challenging problems and creating great products for our end users. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between creative design and technical implementation, ensuring that the end users have a seamless, high-performance experience, whether they are on a desktop browser or a native mobile app. What you'll be doing... β€’ Design and build high-fidelity, responsive UI components using Razor and CSS/SASS that function seamlessly across Web, iOS and Android β€’ Develop prototypes to validate user flows β€’ Translate design mockups into functional Blazor components, managing state, routing, and UI logic within C#/.NET ecosystem β€’ Establish/maintain a unified design system to ensure brand consistency across Blazor web apps and MAUI mobile apps β€’ Optimize UI rendering for mobile resources β€’ Collaborate with developers to integrate RESTful APIs This is a 6-month contract position with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days per week in our Seattle office (Lake Union/Eastlake). Who you are... β€’ Educated.Β  Degree in related field preferred; or equivalent work experience β€’ Experienced.Β  6+ years of UI / UX design & development; experience in Figma & Miro β€’ Problem Solver.Β  Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems β€’ Frameworks.Β  Experience in Blazor (Server/Web Assembly) & understanding of .NET MAUI β€’ Front-End Stack.Β  Strong HTML5/CSS3 (SASS/SCSS) and familiarity with C# β€’ Mobile First Design.Β  Proven track record of designing for touch interfaces, gesture-based navigation, and different screen aspect ratios β€’ Modern Workflows.Β Experience with GIT and/or Azure DevOps for version control and design-to-developer handoff tools Who we are...
