VBA Developer

Job Summary Location: Merrimack, NH or Westlake, TX Required Skills • Demonstrated expertise in using VBA in Excel Developer. • Ability to read, improve, and fix existing VBA code at various levels of complexity. location: Merrimack, New Hampshire job type: Contract salary: $59 - 60 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities • Understanding of how APIs work and how Excel connects to various tools. • Knowledge of how macros send commands to: • Rumba, for updates and querying 3270 screens. Qualifications • Generate output files in Excel or Word formats. • Update and query databases in MS Access and/or DB2/SQL tables. • Compose and send emails from Outlook. Skills • Use Windows API to set active screens and take screenshots for macro processing. • Basic understanding of SQL Server for querying and updating tables. • Understanding of APIs for several web stores, using basic XML or JSON formats.
