VCF Sr. Consultant Automation

We’re partnering with a leading technology company to find a talented VCF Sr. Consultant Dev Automation. This role is fully remote Contract role offering an exciting opportunity to work on advanced automation initiatives. Responsibilities: • Develop and support automation processes for deploying and managing VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments. • Enable seamless consumption of VCF 9.x by automating core activities such as system builds, migrations, and reconfigurations. • Collaborate on integrating automation tools like vRO, Python, JavaScript, terraform, and CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins. • Manage and troubleshoot VCF appliance stacks and support automation workflows related to Day 0 and Day 2 operations. • Assist in optimizing automation scripts and infrastructure as code practices to improve efficiency and reliability. Qualifications: • Proven experience working with vRO, Python, and JavaScript, especially in automation contexts. • Knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) stack appliances. • Hands-on experience with terraform development and CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins. • Familiarity with SaltStack or SALT is advantageous. • Ability to support automated deployment, support, and migration activities in virtualized environments.
