Role description
Description We are looking for a skilled Database Developer to join our team in Somerset, New Jersey. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing, analyzing, and presenting data to support business operations and decision-making. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and collaboration to ensure data integrity and effective communication with stakeholders. Responsibilities:
Conduct physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Review audit results and verify data consistency.
Develop and implement scripts to maintain data hygiene and improve data quality.
Process, clean, and prepare audit data for analytical purposes.
Generate ad hoc and monthly reports tailored to business needs.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders and end-users to identify requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Utilize tools such as ServiceNow, Splunk, Tableau, and Dataiku to support data analytics and reporting workflows.
Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met through proactive planning and execution.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of auditing processes and practices.
Proven experience with data analytics platforms and database management.
Proficiency in data preparation, cleansing, and transformation techniques.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex data insights.
Ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks.
Demonstrated capability to meet deadlines and adhere to project schedules.
Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, ETL processes, T-SQL, and stored procedures.
