Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced software engineer with expertise in C programming, Linux/Unix development, GUI development using Motif, and database technologies to support the development and maintenance of automotive engineering tools used for vehicle controls and calibration data management. The role involves software development, debugging, technical support, documentation, and collaboration with global engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain vehicle controls engineering software tools.
• Develop applications using C in Linux/Unix environments.
• Build and enhance GUI applications using Motif.
• Debug and troubleshoot applications using GDB.
• Support PostgreSQL database development and connectivity.
• Manage engineering tool enhancements through change control processes.
• Provide technical support to global engineering users.
• Create user documentation and training materials.
• Maintain user accounts and application access.
• Participate in software testing, documentation, and user forums.
