W2-Data Engineer with ML/AI

W2 Only, No C2C Job Title- Data Engineer with ML / AI Location: Orlando, Florida (Mostly remote but Hybrid as required) Visa: USC/GC only Pay Rate: ~$55/hr on W2 Interview:- Video Job Description: (Data, Integrations & Reporting Pod) Key Responsibilities • Design and build data pipelines to ingest, normalize, and validate education data • Work with Snowflake as a source system and downstream consumers • Implement data quality checks, reconciliation logic, and schema enforcement • Support ML/AI use cases by preparing clean, structured, and explainable datasets • Collaborate with backend engineers on API-driven data flows • Prove compliance, lineage, and migration viability of data assets Required Technical Skills • Strong Python for data engineering • Experience with FastAPI and JSON-based services • AWS: Lambda, SQS, SNS • Containerization with Docker • Kubernetes exposure (EKS) • CI/CD pipelines (PR-based workflows) • Snowflake (read-heavy usage) • Infrastructure awareness: Terraform, Jenkins Nice to Have • Experience with ML/AI data preparation or feature engineering • Education domain or public-sector data experience • Cognito or identity-aware data systems Soft Skills • High tolerance for ambiguity and evolving data definitions • Analytical mindset with attention to detail • Comfortable pushing back when data doesn’t make sense Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional pods
