Role description
We are hiring a Databricks Senior Data Engineer to support PBM UDAP initiatives in the healthcare domain.
This role will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and curated data products that support analytics, reporting, and operational use cases in a PBM environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Medallion Architecture, along with experience in pipeline development, performance tuning, workflow orchestration, data modeling, and data governance.
This role also requires familiarity with Kafka/event streaming, system design concepts, and DevOps practices using GitHub Actions or Azure Pipelines.
Experience working with modern orchestration tools such as Prefect is preferred.
The successful candidate will partner closely with architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and governed data engineering solutions.
