Warehouse Engineer I (AutoCAD, Data Analysis, Distribution Center)

Job Title: Warehouse Data & Layout Engineer (Entry–Mid Level) Location: Onsite Shift: 1st Shift (Flexible; typically 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM) Bill Rate: $60.60/hour Work Authorization: Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Data & Layout Engineer to support data-driven optimization and layout design across multiple distribution centers. This role combines data analysis, warehouse operations, and CAD-based layout design to improve facility efficiency and readiness for system upgrades. Key Responsibilities - Support data collection, validation, and analysis for warehouse layouts and operations - Review and verify data from legacy warehouse operating systems - Lead and/or support tactical optimization projects across multiple facilities - Prepare and populate datasets for facility system readiness and perform gap analysis - Create and validate accurate warehouse layouts using AutoCAD - Assist engineering teams with warehouse reconfiguration and data initiatives - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support regional distribution center improvements - Perform additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications (Must-Have Skills) - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field - 1–3 years of relevant experience (no recent graduates) - Hands-on experience with data analysis and data tools - Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD preferred) - Strong time management and project coordination skills - Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) - Experience with SAP systems - Exposure to warehouse management systems (WMS) - Experience supporting multi-site operations or optimization projects Additional Requirements - Must wear metatarsal safety boots starting on Day 1 - Ability to work onsite full-time #IND2 JC - R7 Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: - 401(k) - Health insurance Application Question(s): - Are you a US Citizen or GCH?
