Role description
We’re looking for a Web & Business Analytics Specialist who will partner closely with the Data Science and Product Analytics teams to improve visibility into user behavior, conversion, and engagement across digital properties. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Amplitude and web analytics tools, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate raw data into clear, actionable insights. Job Title: Web & Business Analytics Specialist Contract Period: 12 month contract Working Location: United States (100% Remote) We need a candidate with experience in implementing Amplitude. Hands-on experience with Amplitude (event setup, dashboards, funnel analysis). Qualifications 4+ years of experience in web/product/digital analytics or business intelligence. Deep experience with Amplitude (event setup, dashboards, behavioral cohorts, funnel analysis). Strong knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI). Solid understanding of user behavior analysis, A/B testing, and marketing funnel optimization. Proficiency in SQL and comfort querying large datasets. Strong communication skills β€” ability to partner with both technical and non-technical teams. Key Responsibilities Implement and manage analytics tracking: Define, validate, and maintain event tracking across websites and apps using Amplitude, GA4, and Google Tag Manager (or similar tools). Analyze product and marketing performance: Build and interpret dashboards that surface key insights about user engagement, conversion, and retention. Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure accurate tracking and consistent reporting across tools. Develop business insights: Transform behavioral and funnel data into strategic recommendations for acquisition, activation, and retention. Support experimentation and A/B testing: Partner with data science to measure and interpret test outcomes, leveraging Amplitude’s experimentation and cohorting capabilities. Ensure data quality: Audit event schemas, tracking plans, and data flows between Amplitude, Segment, and other analytics systems.
