100% Remote Need someone from NY, NJ (EST or CST preferred) Job Summary: β€’ In this role, you will partner with Marketing, Strategy, and IT stakeholders to improve how we use data. β€’ You will own the creation, management and improvement of our various data assets, including pipelines, tables, dashboards, and other data products. β€’ You will also help to raise our standards for governance across data platforms and ensure alignment with institutional best practices. β€’ Your work will equip our teams with the data needed to make better decisions contributing to MSK’s mission to End Cancer for Life. Job Responsibilities: β€’ Assist with the creation and ongoing management of data tables for use in various data applications. β€’ Collaborate with IT partners to complete data table creation and management work. β€’ Work with Analytics, IT, and Marketing stakeholders to build, optimize, scale, and manage the Business Intelligence ecosystem. β€’ Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agency or vendor partners to ensure alignment with Marketing Analytics perspectives. β€’ Champion a hybrid Service and Self-Service analytics model within Marketing and Communication. β€’ Educate peers while building analytics solutions to support self-service capabilities. β€’ Manage workspaces, data refresh processes, and dataflow creation. β€’ Improve data processing efficiency including automation where possible. β€’ Improve taxonomy, processes, and technical infrastructure that support organizational data work. β€’ Ensure alignment with institutional standards and governance best practices. β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ UPDATED JD DETAILS β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ Experience working with Databricks (as a data warehouse/lakehouse solution) and using dbt within it (to build pipelines and tables)is required. β€’ Inherently, this also means proficiency working with SQL, Github, and .yaml files is crucial. β€’ Experience working with Marketing data is preferred. It’ll save us a lot of time if we can spend less effort explaining the context of certain systems to our new hire. β€’ Ability to clearly and concisely communicate – through messaging, documentation, and live speaking – is critical. β€’ Experience with PowerBI and its related ecosystem (Power Platform) is highly preferred. β€’ Additional coding experience which could be a value-add to a marketing organization is a plus. Skills: Required Skills & Experience: β€’ Three (3) or more years of experience working in Analytics, Data Engineering, or a similar field. β€’ Deep familiarity with SQL and various downstream data applications including business intelligence tools. β€’ Ability to understand the context of data and apply it to inform business analysis. β€’ Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize sophisticated information and convey complex ideas in an accessible manner. β€’ Intrapreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement in deliverables and processes. Preferred Skills & Experience: β€’ Experience working with Microsoft PowerBI, Databricks, dbt. β€’ Marketing experience. β€’ Working knowledge of common marketing data types including web or mobile analytics such as Google Analytics and Heap. β€’ Working knowledge of advertising analytics platforms including Google Marketing Platform, Meta, and The Trade Desk. β€’ Working knowledge of phone tracking platforms such as Invoca.
