Web Application Development Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Web Application Development Manager with strong expertise in building modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Vue.js and the surrounding ecosystem, a solid understanding of frontend architecture, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The role requires developing responsive user interfaces, integrating backend services, and ensuring code quality through best development practices. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain responsive, reusable, and high-performance web applications using Vue.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+). • Build modular, component-based applications while ensuring scalability, maintainability, and code reusability. • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver intuitive user experiences. • Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and ensure seamless communication with backend services. • Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility. • Write clean, secure, well-documented, and testable code while following coding standards and best practices. • Participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning activities. • Implement unit and integration testing to maintain application quality and reliability. • Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and recommend improvements to existing applications. • Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making for frontend development. Required Skills • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), including asynchronous programming, promises, modules, closures, and modern language features. • Extensive hands-on experience with the Vue.js framework, including component lifecycle, reactive data binding, computed properties, watchers, and custom directives. • Solid experience with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue Router, Vuex/Pinia, Vue CLI, and Nuxt.js. • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, Flexbox, CSS Grid, and preprocessors such as Sass or Less. • Experience implementing Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and understanding its performance and SEO benefits. • Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Functional Programming concepts. • Ability to write optimized, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices. • Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Vue Test Utils. • Hands-on experience with modern frontend tooling, including Webpack, Vite, Babel, NPM/Yarn, and Git. • Strong experience consuming and designing RESTful APIs, including JSON data handling and API integration. • Familiarity with browser developer tools, debugging techniques, and frontend performance optimization. • Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, and secure frontend development practices. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with TypeScript in Vue.js applications. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and collaborative development workflows. • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage. • Understanding of accessibility (WCAG), SEO best practices, and web security concepts. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment. Experience • 10+ years of experience in frontend development with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in Vue.js. • Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade web applications in production environments.
