Windchill PLM Developer

About the job: Akkodis is seeking a Windchill Technical Lead / PLM Developer for a contract role. This position requires strong experience in Windchill customization, data modeling, and Java-based development within a PLM environment, along with the ability to lead technical implementations and work closely with business stakeholders. Pay Range: $65/hr. – $70/hr. on W2 (The pay rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.) Windchill PLM Developer responsibilities include: • Lead technical implementation and customization of Windchill solutions • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions • Perform Windchill data model customization and configuration • Develop and support applications using Java, SQL, and web technologies • Handle BOM management, change management, and CAD integration • Support ETL processes, data migration, and system enhancements • Troubleshoot, debug, and perform unit testing of applications • Participate in installation and configuration of PTC Windchill software • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/DevOps methodologies Required Skills & Experience: • 10+ years of IT experience with strong focus on Windchill and PLM • Hands-on experience in Windchill customization, data model, and architecture • Strong programming skills in Java, SQL, and web services • Experience with BOM, Change Management, and CAD integration • Knowledge of Windchill database structure and table architecture • Experience in ETL processes, data migration, and system integration • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills • Experience leading technical teams and solution design Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in medical device or regulated industry • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket • ThingWorx experience is a plus • Knowledge of quality processes and PLM best practices • Relevant certifications are a plus If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
