Role description
Job Title: Workplace Data & Planning Analyst Location: Rochester, NY (On-site / First Shift) Pay Rate: $30.00/hr Job Type: Full-Time, Contract About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented Workplace Data & Planning Analyst to support space planning and facilities operations for a global leader in commercial real estate. This role is ideal for someone with strong Excel skills who enjoys working with data, maintaining accuracy, and translating information into actionable insights. You will partner closely with site planners and facilities teams to manage workplace data, track occupancy, and support reporting that drives space optimization decisions. Key Responsibilities: • Data Management: Maintain and update workplace data (seating plans, occupancy, workstation allocation) and perform regular audits to ensure data integrity across internal systems. • Reporting & Insights: Build and maintain Excel-based reports, dashboards, and visualizations (charts, graphs) for facilities leadership. • Space Planning Support: Assist site planners with workspace tracking, mapping seating arrangements, and maintaining floor plan documentation. • Operational Support: Assist with administrative tasks related to facilities operations, including purchase orders and vendor coordination. Qualifications: • 1–3 years of experience in data support, corporate operations, real estate, or administrative roles. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (specifically Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic formulas). • High attention to detail with the ability to organize large datasets. • Familiarity with space planning tools or floor plan data is a plus, but not required. • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Schedule & Environment: • First Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends, 0 expected overtime hours).
