Integris Group is partnering with a financial services client in Iselin, NJ that is seeking two (2) Senior Python Data Engineers to join their eCrime Defense team. This is a long-term, extendable contract role (1-Year Plus). 🚨 Hybrid Requirement (No Exceptions): β€’ Onsite: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday β€’ Remote: Tuesday, Friday Job Summary Our client is seeking Senior Data Engineers with strong Python expertise to help build and maintain critical data infrastructure supporting the detection, investigation, and prevention of electronic crimes. In this role, you will partner closely with cybersecurity analysts, threat hunters, and data scientists to deliver reliable, high-quality data for both real-time and historical analysis. This position plays a key role in enabling advanced analytics, threat intelligence, and eCrime investigation capabilities across the organization. Required Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field β€’ 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering with a strong emphasis on Python development (senior/lead-level experience) β€’ Strong hands-on experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, PySpark, Requests, and SQLAlchemy β€’ Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) β€’ Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar) β€’ Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and security best practices β€’ Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional security teams Key Responsibilities: β€’ Develop and maintain robust Python-based data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store security-related data (logs, APIs, threat feeds, etc). β€’ Build and optimize scalable ETL workflows supporting threat intelligence, digital forensics, and incident response. β€’ Integrate external threat intelligence sources and enrich internal datasets to enhance detection capabilities. β€’ Partner with cybersecurity teams to define data requirements and deliver solutions that support eCrime investigations. β€’ Design and optimize data models for efficient querying and analysis in cloud environments. β€’ Implement automated data validation and anomaly detection using Python. β€’ Ensure data security, integrity, and regulatory compliance. β€’ Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot real-time issues. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have – Not Required) β€’ Experience with Apache Airflow, Kafka, or Spark β€’ Familiarity with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Azure Sentinel) β€’ Knowledge of eCrime tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) β€’ Relevant certifications such as: β€’ AWS Certified Data Analytics β€’ Google Professional Data Engineer (GCPD) β€’ GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI)
