Job#: 3032957 Job Description: Financial Systems Lead Location: Indianapolis, Indiana, Chicago, Illinois, or Columbus, Ohio (Hybrid) Employment Type: 6 months + Contract to Perm Role Overview The Financial Systems Lead will administer, plan, design, develop, and manage assigned applications supporting finance and accounting functions. This role requires communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve application issues and maximize technology investments. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining strict confidentiality. Key Responsibilities • Assume shared responsibility for the planning, design, and development of new applications and enhancements. • Create reporting and analytics from financial systems using SQL backend experience. • Mentor and coach team members to assist in skills development. • Manage compatibility and interoperability of accounting applications, including integrating internal and third-party applications. • Review and analyze the effectiveness of applications to develop strategies for improvement. • Maintain and monitor the performance of existing finance-related software. • Collaborate with accounting department leads to assess and deliver on application training needs. • Field incoming requests from end-users to resolve application and software issues. • Communicate application problems and issues to stakeholders, including management and development teams. • Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems are resolved. Required Qualifications Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of 3-5 years of work experience is required. Experience: Significant experience with 3E financial systems is required. Candidates must have functional and technical knowledge of accounting software solutions, with ideally 3 or more years of enterprise-level accounting software analysis. Experience with legal or professional services financial applications is necessary. Technical Skills: Strong SQL knowledge and backend experience are required. Proficiency in T-SQL, SSRS, and Power BI for report design and visualization is necessary. A strong general knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (PC and Server) and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel, is also required. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in the legal or professional services industries. • Potential interest in people management, although not required for the role. • Experience with cloud migration projects for applications. Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is from $114,000.00 to $163,000.00 annually. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
