Role description
Accurx is where conversations happen with and about patients in the NHS
For decades, the NHS has struggled with fragmented systems that make simple tasks feel impossible. At Accurx, we're changing that by building a single, system-wide platform that connects everyone through communication.
What started as a way for GPs to text a patient, has now evolved into an all-in-one digital toolkit used by 98% of GP practices and 68% (and growing!) of NHS Trusts.
Our platform now powers Total Triage to manage patient demand, and Self-Book that lets patients schedule their own appointments in seconds. We've automated routine care with Patient Questionnaires for long-term conditions, while Accumail finally allows staff-to-staff communication to happen instantly across different care settings. We're now pushing the boundaries of the consultation itself with Accurx Scribe, our AI-powered note-taker that drafts medical notes in real-time.
We're not just shipping features. We're giving clinicians their time back and ensuring every patient journey is as smooth as it should be.
That sounds cool — what does a People Data & Reward Analyst have to do with it?
This is a 6-month fixed term contract focused on three key areas of initial build and set-up work: establishing robust reward processes, delivering people analytics dashboards, and supporting the implementation of a new AI-powered HR system. The role is designed to create lasting foundations that can be maintained by the wider People team once complete.
The challenges you'll solve as a People Data & Reward Analyst
Project 1: Reward Processes & Pay Review
• Salary Banding Review: Design and document an annual salary banding review process, conduct external benchmarking, produce recommendations for senior stakeholders, and create templates to make the process repeatable in future years.
• Annual Pay Review (October 2026): Support the end-to-end pay review cycle, prepare budget modelling and scenario planning, coordinate across People and Finance teams, and produce communications and manager guidance for rollout.
• Benefits Renewal Preparation (December 2026): Review the current benefits package against market benchmarks and employee feedback, manage broker relationships, and provide recommendations ahead of the December renewal window.
• Gender Pay Gap Reporting: Complete gender pay gap analysis and reporting, including narrative commentary for publication, with actionable recommendations to support reduction over time.
Project 2: People Analytics Dashboards
• Dashboard Design & Build: Work with the internal data team to scope and build priority dashboards in Microsoft Power BI (e.g. headcount, attrition, recruitment pipeline, DEI metrics, engagement), designed for ease of maintenance by the existing team.
• Reporting Standardisation: Standardise regular People & Talent KPI reports, integrate engagement survey data into the dashboard suite, and provide training and documentation so the team can maintain everything post-contract.
Project 3: HR System Implementation (Harriet HR)
• System Implementation Support: Contribute to scoping and planning the rollout of Harriet HR, Accurx's new AI-powered HR system, supporting integration with existing systems and embedding data integrity and GDPR compliance throughout.
• Automated Workflows: Identify, scope, implement and test automation opportunities connected to Harriet HR (e.g. onboarding, contract generation, leaver processes), and create user guides to support adoption.
• Systems Optimisation: Ensure Harriet HR is configured to deliver a great employee experience, with all people data managed in accordance with GDPR and clear documentation for ongoing maintenance.
You should apply if...
• You have strong data analysis, reporting and visualisation skills — ideally with hands-on Microsoft Power BI experience.
• You're proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and comfortable managing large volumes of raw data.
• You have experience working with HR/People systems, ideally including involvement in a system implementation.
• You've supported a pay review cycle and/or reward benchmarking process before.
• You bring excellent attention to detail and can produce high quality work to tight deadlines.
• You're a strong project manager, able to juggle multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• You're comfortable working with GDPR and data privacy requirements in a People context.
What's in it for me?
You'll be joining an established but fast-growing Tech for Good movement, where we're led by our Principles and our mission to Fix Healthcare Communication.
• £45,000 – £60,000 salary (pro-rated)
• Flexible Working: We are an office first culture and ask that you're in our (dog-friendly) Shoreditch office 3 days a week, with core hours of 10am–4pm
• Time off: You'll get 28 pro-rated days of holiday (plus bank holidays) and up to 4 weeks to work from anywhere per year
• Family matters: We offer enhanced parental leave, fertility support and parental loss support
• We have our very own Chef! Free healthy breakfasts, snacks and lunches will be provided, with the occasional sweet treat!
