Senior Data Engineer β Contract Role
Location: Troy, MI (Local candidates only β Onsite required)
Work Authorization: USC and GC only
Contract Duration: 6 Months

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Troy, MI. This is a fully onsite role, and only candidates able to attend the final in-person interview will be considered. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT, and a strong background in building scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT
β’ Build and optimize data models in Snowflake to support analytics and reporting
β’ Implement ETL workflows for transforming raw data into analytics-ready datasets
β’ Optimize performance of queries and transformation workflows
β’ Integrate Snowflake with various data sources and third-party tools
β’ Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions
β’ Implement and monitor data quality checks to ensure reliability and accuracy
β’ Maintain documentation for data models, pipelines, and transformation logic
Required Skills and Qualifications:
β’ Strong command of SQL, including writing and debugging complex queries
β’ Proven expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling and performance tuning
β’ Advanced experience with DBT for data transformations and orchestration
β’ Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, especially in cloud environments
β’ Ability to analyze and work with large, complex datasets
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
β’ Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams
Note: This role requires onsite availability in Troy, MI and an in-person final interview. Remote candidates or those unwilling to attend the final onsite interview will not be considered.
