Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a 5yr+ Java Spring Boot MicroServices AWS in Columbus, OH. Key Tasks: • Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting • Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance • Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications • Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation • Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity • Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development • Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems • Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements Requirements • Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability, with a focus on Java Microservices deployed on Cloud Platforms • Hands-on on cloud services and deployments, especially AWS or Private cloud • Strong skills in DevOps best practices, including automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) • Understanding of RDBMS/ Distributed DB concept • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
