• Develop and maintain complex enterprise data lineage applications using Ab-initio Metadatahub. • Optimize industry-standard lineage tools to simplify and manage enterprise-level data complexity. • Debug and resolve graph-related and application development issues. • Collaborate in the design and implementation of new features for data lineage solutions. • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with best practices. • Write and maintain technical documentation for functionalities and APIs. • Integrate and validate third-party libraries and development tools. • Manage source code using version control systems (e.g., Git). • Implement and optimize algorithms for code generation and data processing. • Refactor code for improved maintainability and performance. • Stay updated with advancements in data lineage technologies and methodologies. • Profile and benchmark application performance across different hardware platforms. • Develop and automate testing and verification processes for the codebase. • Provide technical support and expertise to internal development teams. • Analyze performance metrics to identify and implement improvements. • Participate in architecture and design discussions for continuous improvement. • Use static and dynamic analysis tools to enhance code quality. • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams. • Research and apply new techniques and methodologies in data lineage and metadata management. • Contribute to and engage with open-source projects related to compilers or data lineage. Required Skills • 5+ years Ab-initio Metadatahub development experience. • Strong experience in data lineage development and data analytics. • Proficiency in Python, Java, and/or Ab-initio mHub. • Hands-on experience with coding languages and tool-based configurations. • Full software development life cycle (SDLC/SDK) experience. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in teams. • Familiarity with code optimization for different hardware architectures. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred). • Experience with data management tools and lineage tools. Other Details • 6 months contract, onsite in Boston, MA (relocation accepted)
