Adjunct Professor – MSc Data Analytics (Online, 1-month contract)
About the role
We are seeking U.S.–educated subject-matter experts to design, record, and deliver one graduate-level module (3 credits, ≈45 contact-hours) in our online MSc Data Analytics programme. You will:
• Pre-record high-quality video lectures and hands-on demos.
• Run at least one live Q&A / workshop.
• Assess student work and provide feedback during an intensive four-week teaching block.

You may indicate more than one area of expertise, but you will be contracted for one module.
Core responsibilities
• Instructional design & recording – Create 6–8 hours of concise HD lecture videos and runnable notebooks that map to the module’s learning outcomes.
• Live engagement – Host at least one synchronous session (webinar or live-coding) and participate in LMS discussions during the block.
• Assessment – Prepare quizzes/assignments, grade submissions, and return feedback within 72 hours.
• Quality & compliance – Meet institutional rubrics, uphold academic-integrity and GDPR/FERPA standards, and deliver all artefacts by the required deadlines.
Required qualifications & skills
• Master’s or PhD awarded by an accredited U.S. university in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated technical mastery in the chosen expertise area (see table above).
• Prior university-level teaching or corporate-training experience—online preferred.
• Proven ability to create engaging recorded content (clear audio/video, effective screen capture) and to teach hands-on labs in Python.
• Excellent written and spoken English and strong cross-cultural communication skills.
Desirable
• PhD with peer-reviewed publications in AI/ML/NLP/Data Mining.
• Relevant industry experience applying analytics or deep learning.
• Familiarity with Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, or comparable LMS platforms.
Contract details
• Duration: 1 month (specific dates confirmed at appointment).
• Workload: Prep period → four-week teaching block → prompt grading of final assessments.
• Location: Remote; reliable high-speed internet required.
• Remuneration: Competitive fixed honorarium plus instructional-design support and access to our digital resources.
• Deliverables: All videos, slides, code, and assessments must be submitted seven days before student access.
