Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled OutSystems Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide strategic technical leadership and hands-on expertise in building complex, enterprise-grade applications using the OutSystems low-code platform. In addition to development, this role involves course delivery and mentorship, so excellent communication and teaching abilities are essential. As an SME, you will play a critical role in defining architecture standards, ensuring scalability, mentoring development teams, and guiding learners or teams in low-code best practices through structured training sessions. Job Title: OutSystems Development –(SME) Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Experience: Senior Level of Experience. Key Responsibilities: • Act as a strategic technical advisor in all aspects of OutSystems application design, development, and implementation • Architect scalable, modular, and maintainable applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and goals • Develop and validate complex business logic using client and server actions, data modeling, and advanced microflows • Lead integration efforts with external systems, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms • Define and enforce development best practices, code reviews, and performance optimization standards • Mentor and support developers, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development across the team • Deliver technical sessions or training to internal teams or external learners as part of structured learning programs • Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments via OutSystems Lifetime and Service Center.
