Role Overview
The AJO Architect will lead the design and implementation of Adobe Journey Optimizer within the enterprise ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration with Adobe Experience Platform and connected systems. This role is responsible for defining technical strategy, establishing best practices, and enabling scalable customer journey orchestration aligned with business goals.
Scope of Responsibilities
β’ Define and validate the end-to-end architecture for AJO implementations, covering data ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation, and omnichannel orchestration.
β’ Integrate AJO with Adobe Experience Platform, CRM systems, APIs, and external data sources, ensuring performance and scalability.
β’ Establish governance and compliance guidelines, including data privacy, consent management, and audit controls.
β’ Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate requirements into executable workflows and journeys.
β’ Provide architectural oversight during implementation, resolving technical dependencies and ensuring adherence to best practices.
β’ Support performance monitoring, optimization, and continuous improvement across journeys.
Critical Skills & Qualifications
β’ Deep expertise in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
β’ Strong knowledge of customer data platforms, real-time event processing, and identity resolution frameworks.
β’ Proven experience in large-scale system integration (APIs, CRM, data platforms, marketing automation).
β’ Understanding of governance, privacy regulations, and consent management in digital marketing.
β’ Ability to design scalable, high-availability architectures supporting complex personalization and decisioning strategies.
β’ Excellent communication and leadership skills to align stakeholders across technical and business domains.
