Role description
Job Title: Ads Data & Solutions Specialist Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for extension Location: remote Est or PST Note: This role is less technical than the title might suggest. We are looking for someone who will primarily communicate with and manage relationships with clients and businesses. The role may occasionally involve pulling SQL queries and reviewing metrics. While it is not primarily a programming role, familiarity with Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, APIs, and Postman would be helpful for navigating the systems and understanding the data. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience • 3+ years of software development experience with a proven ability to drive end-to-end technical projects, including cross-functional coordination • Hands-on expertise in at least one modern programming language (Python strongly preferred; Java, JavaScript, and/or Node.js also acceptable) • Strong SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with BigQuery or comparable data warehouses • Familiarity with front-end development, specifically HTML and CSS • Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and modern SDK usage patterns Day-to-Day Responsibilities: • Partner with Sales and account teams to translate custom audience needs into actionable data and technical requirements • Build, refine, and validate audience definitions using BigQuery and SQL to support paid media targeting and campaign opportunities • Example: If a sales lead requests “Windows users who have engaged with Apple content or Apple-related,” this role will scope the request, determine relevant data signals, and deliver a high-quality audience dataset • Collaborate on the development and deployment of Interactive Ads connected to these audiences, including generating and customizing HTML/CSS templates • Iterate on audience segments, troubleshoot data gaps, and help unlock new targeting opportunities
