Senior AI Architect Parsippany, NJ | Healthcare Technology Solutions Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior AI Architect to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of advanced AI solutions. This is a high-impact leadership role at the forefront of generative AI, traditional ML, and agentic systems, supporting our efforts to transform healthcare decision-making. Key Responsibilities AI Strategy & Architecture Architect and oversee end-to-end AI systems: data ingestion, model development, deployment, and observability. Design intelligent, agentic systems with memory, planning, and autonomous tool-use. Integrate hybrid AI architectures using: Traditional ML (e.g., XGBoost, Random Forest, SVM) Deep Learning (CNNs, RNNs, Transformer models) Generative AI (LLMs, Diffusion Models, Multimodal AI) Generative AI & Agent Systems Develop AI applications using LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Gemini) and frameworks like: LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack Vector DBs: Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Qdrant Architect Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and tool-using agents. Optimize inference, token usage, and memory across large model runtimes. Traditional ML & Data Science Lead development of ML models for classification, regression, clustering, forecasting, and anomaly detection. Translate business needs into mathematical models and data solutions. Collaborate with Data Engineering to enhance pipelines, feature stores, and model serving infrastructure. Infrastructure & MLOps Deploy models on AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP Vertex AI. Apply MLOps best practices: model versioning, CI/CD, drift detection (MLflow, Kubeflow, Arize). Use workflow orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect to manage complex pipelines. Leadership & Governance Mentor and guide junior AI/ML engineers through project lifecycles. Partner with leadership to define the AI roadmap and integration strategy. Champion responsible AI practices around fairness, privacy, and transparency. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field. 8+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, with 3+ years in a leadership or architectural role. Proven success delivering AI systems (both generative and traditional) into production. Strong expertise in LLMs, transformer models, vector embeddings, and agentic architectures. Proficiency with Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace, Scikit-learn), SQL, and cloud platforms. Preferred: Ph.D. in AI, NLP, Machine Learning, or a related discipline. Experience deploying AI within enterprise healthcare platforms or clinical systems. Knowledge of data compliance standards such as HIPAA or GDPR.
