Role description
AI Architect (Contract) Contract Length: 6 months Location: Flexible / Hybrid (dependent on project needs) Overview TechNET IT has partnered with a leading global enterprise to deliver a large-scale AI and data transformation programme. We are seeking an experienced AI Architect to design and oversee enterprise-grade AI solutions built on Palantir Foundry, supporting advanced analytics and commercial data use cases. This role will play a key part in shaping AI architecture, ensuring scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions that deliver measurable business value. Key Responsibilities β€’ Design end-to-end AI and analytics architectures leveraging Palantir Foundry, including ML models, large-scale data pipelines (PySpark), and deployment patterns within the Foundry ecosystem. β€’ Define and maintain architectural standards, best practices, and governance for AI and data science solutions, with a strong focus on security, compliance, scalability, and maintainability. β€’ Evaluate and select appropriate AI, ML, and data technologies within Foundry and aligned cloud environments. β€’ Collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, software engineers, and product stakeholders to integrate commercial data sources and AI workflows. β€’ Oversee integration of AI models and analytics into enterprise systems using Foundry APIs and data connectors. β€’ Ensure robust data privacy, ethical AI principles, and regulatory considerations are embedded in all solutions. β€’ Review, troubleshoot, and optimise AI system performance, reliability, and data pipeline health. β€’ Stay up to date with advancements across AI, ML, data engineering, and the Foundry platform, driving continuous improvement. Required Skills & Experience β€’ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. β€’ Proven experience as an AI Architect, ML Engineer, or similar, delivering production-grade AI solutions on Palantir Foundry. β€’ Strong expertise in PySpark, distributed data processing, and large-scale data pipelines. β€’ Deep understanding of AI/ML algorithms, model optimisation, and enterprise deployment patterns. β€’ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). β€’ Solid knowledge of data engineering, security, compliance, and enterprise software architecture. β€’ Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Desirable Experience β€’ Experience delivering AI and advanced analytics solutions for complex commercial data environments. β€’ Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, DevOps, and automated model pipelines within Foundry or similar platforms. β€’ Familiarity with big data ecosystems such as Spark, Hadoop, and large-scale data integration.
