Shawn Sylvester Email: sylvester.shawn@peer-consulting.com Cell: (732) 305-0827 Job Title: AI Business Analyst/Private Credit Location: NYC, NY/Hybrid Duration: 12 months+ Years of Experience: 10+ Years Required Hours/Week: 40 Hours/Week Job Overview: • The Candidate – Private Credit is responsible for supporting technology and business initiatives aligned with private credit investment, lending, and portfolio management operations. • This role partners with front office, credit risk, operations, and technology teams to gather requirements, analyze data flows, and deliver scalable solutions that enhance deal lifecycle management, loan servicing, reporting, and regulatory compliance. • The ideal candidate brings strong experience in private credit platforms, data integration, and financial systems, with the ability to translate complex business needs into functional and technical specifications across investment and credit workflows. Job Description: • Seeking a senior Business Analyst with strong Capital Markets experience, specifically within Private Credit or AI-driven initiatives. • The role focuses on mapping end-to-end private credit deal lifecycle processes (origination through closing and portfolio monitoring), gathering front-office requirements, improving underwriting and credit workflows, and supporting AI-enabled automation initiatives. • Recent Capital Markets experience is mandatory. Key Responsibilities: • Map and document end-to-end private credit deal flow (origination, underwriting, credit approval, closing, monitoring) • Gather business and system requirements from front-office stakeholders (investment, credit, trading teams) • Create BRDs, process flows, gap analysis, and support system implementations • Identify process improvement and AI automation opportunities across deal workflows • Support data mapping, system integrations, UAT coordination, and reporting Required Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Capital Markets, Private Credit, or Asset Management • Strong understanding of private lending and deal lifecycle processes • Front-office experience working with investment, credit, or portfolio teams • Experience with financial systems, data analysis, and workflow/process design Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with private credit platforms (Allvue, Deal Cloud, Investran, eFront, etc.) • Exposure to AI implementation, prompt engineering, or workflow automation in financial services • Experience designing or refining prompts using tools such as Blue Flame AI, Chat GPT, Claude, or similar AI platforms • Experience building workflow automations, custom GPTs, or AI-driven process enhancements
