AI Consultant/Data Scientist | Generative AI | Hybrid | Outside | 6 Months Rolling An opportunity has arisen for an experienced AI Consultant / Data Science Consultant to join a growing consultancy delivering cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions for a range of enterprise clients. This role will play a key part in designing, developing and deploying innovative AI solutions that solve real business challenges, helping organisations unlock greater value from their data through Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI. Working across multiple client engagements, you'll be responsible for translating business problems into scalable AI solutions, working closely with stakeholders to understand their objectives, define technical approaches and deliver production-ready machine learning and GenAI applications. You'll combine hands-on technical delivery with a consultative mindset, developing ML models in Python, evaluating and implementing LLM and Generative AI solutions, and applying data science techniques to customer-focused use cases including customer behaviour, marketing, digital, product and commercial analytics. You'll work with a variety of datasets including transactional, customer, loyalty, web and social data to generate actionable insights and intelligent AI-powered solutions. This AI Consultant role is: 📈 Outside IR35 🏠 Hybrid working 🕐 6 Months Rolling 🛠️ Proven commercial experience delivering AI, Machine Learning or Data Science solutions is essential. You'll have strong hands-on experience with Python, Machine Learning and Generative AI, including exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI frameworks. Experience delivering client-facing consultancy engagements, gathering business requirements, communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and deploying production-ready AI solutions is highly desirable. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP), data visualisation tools, MLOps and emerging technologies such as Agentic AI would be advantageous. You'll work alongside senior business stakeholders, data teams and technical specialists to design and implement AI solutions that enable smarter decision-making, improve customer outcomes and accelerate AI adoption across enterprise organisations.
