Key Responsibilities: • Partner with AI and large language model teams to define, document, and govern the meaning of data assets used in training, inference, and automation workflows. • Translate complex business concepts into structured semantic artifacts like business terms, classifications, and relationships, that are accessible to AI systems. • Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to gather domain knowledge and convert it into reusable semantic assets. • Develop and maintain enterprise-wide glossaries, taxonomies, and classification frameworks within data catalog environments. • Enrich technical assets with comprehensive business context to ensure semantic consistency and clarity across data domains. • Collaborate with data governance teams to align semantic definitions with data quality, lineage, and cataloging standards. • Support responsible AI initiatives by ensuring data assets are well-defined, owned, and used ethically. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or data product management. • Proven expertise working with data catalog or metadata management platforms such as Alation or similar. • Hands-on experience creating business glossaries, taxonomies, and semantic layers. • Strong ability to translate technical data concepts into clear business language. • Experience collaborating with data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML teams. • Exceptional facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
