Job#: 3028888 Job Description: Business Analyst IV Location: Sun Prairie, Wisconsin (Partial Remote) Employment Type: Contract Role Overview This role involves managing essential process documentation and leading the project implementation of functional and technical solutions. The position requires collaboration with business partners and IT leadership to gather business requirements, provide expertise, and execute plans to enhance business capability. This position functions as a combination of a Product Owner and a Business Analyst. Key Responsibilities • Act as a liaison between business and IT to drive project delivery. • Conduct daily touch base meetings with on and offshore team members to discuss deliverables and blockers. • Lead elicitation sessions to define requirements and user stories. • Enter User Stories and Acceptance Criteria into Atlassian JIRA. • Update ISO-based Insurance forms using Word and/or LibreOffice. • Create UAT Test Plans and support business execution of test cases. • Triage defects with IT and vendors, and assist the business with re-testing to resolve issues. Required Qualifications Experience: • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis. • Proven experience as an Agile leader, with a background in both business-driven and IT projects. • Experience in the insurance industry, specifically outside of Life, Health, and Workers' Compensation. • Experience with Billing, Pricing, or Underwriting Operations projects. • Familiarity with ISO and/or non-ISO forms, policies, or letters and their production. • Proven ability to elicit and document requirements from senior-level stakeholders. • Experience leading UAT efforts and defect management resolution. • Background with integration and end-to-end solutions, including a policy administration system. Technical Skills: • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel). • Experience working with external web development vendors. • Experience with insurance policy and form development. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in specialty insurance lines such as Aviation, Financial Lines, Accident & Health (Employee Stop Loss), or Cyber. • Actuarial or Policy Rating experience using MS Excel. • Experience with API Mapping between Policy, Claims, and Financial Insurance Applications. • Experience with Insurance Data Analytics, AI, or Generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Azure).
