Duration: 1+ year
Location/Type: Remote (Travel required whenever it is required, maybe once in a quarter)
Job Overview:
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle EBS (Enterprise Business Suite) Projects accounting & Oracle Project Contracts Business Analyst Consultant to join their implementation team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Oracle EBS modules related to Projects / Contracts and a deep understanding of business analysis and implementation methodologies. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in translating business requirements into Oracle EBS solutions, leading implementation projects, and providing guidance to the team.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of Oracle EBS modules related to manufacturing, including but not limited to Oracle Project Accounting / Oracle Project Contracts
• Strong experience in the Discrete Manufacturing domain.
• Experience in configuring Oracle Project Accounting / Oracle Project Contracts to support Government customers is preferred.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, assess feasibility, and recommend optimal solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Configure and customize Oracle EBS applications to meet business requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address gaps through process redesign or system enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, finance, and supply chain to ensure seamless integration of Oracle EBS manufacturing solutions with existing systems and processes.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior analysts and developers, mentoring them in Oracle EBS best practices and implementation methodologies.
• Lead testing efforts, including system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, ensuring the quality and reliability of implemented solutions.
• Develop comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, test plans, training materials, and user manuals.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and Oracle EBS updates to continuously enhance knowledge and skills.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users post-implementation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst specializing in Oracle EBS manufacturing modules, with at least [X] 3 full lifecycle implementations.
• Oracle Project Accounting / Oracle Project Contracts
• Proficiency in Oracle EBS configuration, customization, and integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• SQL query proficiency preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience leading implementation projects and guiding cross-functional teams.
• Oracle certifications preferred.
• Experience with Agile or other implementation methodologies a plus.
• Ability to travel as needed for project requirements.
