Key Responsibilities: • AI & Data Semantics Enablement: Collaborate with AI model teams to define, document, and govern business meanings for data assets used in training, inference, and workflows. • Business and Technical Translation: Convert complex business concepts into structured semantic artifacts, including business terms, classifications, and relationships, optimized for AI usability. • Responsible AI Support: Ensure data assets have clear definitions, ownership, lineage, and usage constraints to promote ethical and responsible AI practices. • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead discovery sessions to extract domain knowledge, translating ambiguity into precise data and analytical concepts. • Metadata & Taxonomy Development: Build and maintain enterprise glossaries, taxonomies, and classification frameworks within a data catalog environment, ensuring semantic consistency across domains. • Data Product & Platform Alignment: Ensure semantic definitions align with data products and governed data sources, collaborating closely with data governance and lineage teams. Required Qualifications: • 7+ years of experience in business or data analysis, data products, or related roles. • Hands-on experience with data catalog or metadata management platforms (e.g., Alation or similar). • Proven ability to develop business glossaries, taxonomies, and semantic layers. • Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical assets into business language. • Experience partnering with data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML teams.
