Role Responsibilities
• Source publicly available documents from government archives, academic repositories, and open datasets.
• Verify and document license types to ensure compliance with open-source and usage requirements.
• Log and maintain accurate metadata, including source links and licensing details.
• Identify and flag issues related to ownership, unclear licensing, or restricted content.
• Collaborate with data engineering and compliance teams to resolve sourcing challenges.
• Stay updated on open data practices, licensing standards, and repository navigation.
• Communicate findings clearly to support documentation quality and compliance audits.
Requirements
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review licensing and compliance information accurately.
• Strong experience in document sourcing, academic research, and public records search.
