AI Delivery Lead (Hybrid – California) Role Summary The AI Delivery Lead is a key team member who bridges technical hands-on expertise with delivery and program leadership. This is a newly created role supporting our artificial intelligence transformation initiatives. As an AI Delivery Lead, you will manage concurrent AI/ML workstreams, guide platform and governance decisions, and collaborate across business units to deliver scalable, high-impact AI solutions aligned with organizational priorities. Responsibilities Project Delivery & Program Management • Lead and manage AI/ML project delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring on-time, on-scope execution. • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for project deliverables and report progress to stakeholders. • Collaborate using project management tools including Jira, Clarity, and MS Project. • Manage cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment and coordinate with multiple internal business units. Technical Execution & Architecture • Provide hands-on technical expertise in AI implementation — this is not a purely strategic or oversight role. • Work with a range of AI technologies and platforms, including AWS AI services, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, and custom LLM solutions. • Evaluate and recommend enabling AI and data platform technologies as part of ongoing engagements. • Deliver technical documentation, cloud architecture diagrams, and API manuals. • Support generative AI initiatives, traditional machine learning/predictive analytics, and data analytics/reporting projects, with priorities driven by evolving business needs. Governance & Standards • Help define and mature AI governance frameworks, security standards, and responsible AI practices. • Ensure AI solutions are developed and deployed in alignment with data privacy, compliance, and organizational policies. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement • Partner with business units to understand requirements and translate them into actionable AI delivery plans. • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and remove delivery blockers across technical and business teams. • Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Requirements • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; equivalent experience considered. • 7+ years of experience in technology delivery, with at least 3+ years focused on AI/ML projects. • Demonstrated hands-on experience implementing AI solutions — not limited to strategic oversight. • Experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS AI/ML services, Azure OpenAI, or equivalent) and LLM-based solutions. • Proficiency with project management tools: Jira, MS Project, and/or Clarity. • Experience delivering technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and API documentation. • Strong understanding of AI governance, data security, and responsible AI principles. • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in matrixed or large enterprise environments. • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent). • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to executive stakeholders. • Ability to work onsite with clients in the same geographic market as required by the hybrid schedule. Nice to Have • Experience with generative AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot). • Background in data analytics, predictive modeling, or ML engineering. • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Azure AI Engineer, PMP, SAFe).
