💼 Job Title: AI Engineer – Back Office Automation 💰 Industry: FinTech 📍 Location: New York City 🔍 We are partnering with an exciting Fintech to hire an AI Engineer who will lead the buildout of AI-powered back-office operations. This is a critical role focused on automating loan processing, compliance, and reporting to streamline operations and support scalable growth. You will design and deploy intelligent systems that reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and modernize the lending lifecycle. 🧾 Responsibilities: • Build AI-driven solutions to automate workflows across loan intake, compliance, risk analysis, and reconciliation • Develop intelligent document processing systems (OCR/NLP) for contracts, financials, and legal docs • Design predictive models for borrower profiling, risk, and loan performance monitoring • Integrate AI pipelines with loan origination and servicing platforms • Collaborate with operations, compliance, and finance teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities • Ensure systems meet regulatory standards and maintain high levels of data security 🧾 What We’re Looking For: • 4+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or applied data science • Strong skills in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, spaCy) • Hands-on expertise with NLP, OCR, and document AI technologies • Experience integrating AI into financial or operational workflows • Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and APIs • Familiarity with KYC/AML processes and lending compliance (preferred) • Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and knowledge of MLOps practices a plus
