Role description
A.I. Engineer: Hybrid - 2x/week Vienna, Virginia
Responsibility:
β’ Build and enhance machine learning models through all phases of development including design, training, validation, and implementation.
β’ Unlock insights by analyzing large scale complex numerical and textual data and identifying trends.
β’ Partner with a cross-functional team of data engineers, data scientists, and data visualization experts to deliver projects.
β’ Research and evaluate emerging technologies.
β’ Develop data science solutions based on tools and cloud computing infrastructure.
Qualifications:
β’ Advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics, or related field.
β’ Strong experience with applying expertise in model design, training, validation, and monitoring.
β’ Excellent understanding of machine learning, statistical modeling, and algorithms as well as their benefits and drawbacks.
β’ Experience with cloud computing infrastructure.
β’ Experience with Computer Vision, image processing and video analytics.
β’ Experience with Natural Language Processing/Natural Language Understanding.
β’ Experience with deep learning frameworks and infrastructure like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
β’ Experience and/or willingness to learn advanced techniques in Agentic A.I. framework and Large Language Models (LLMs).
β’ Experience and/or willingness to research, develop, implement, and fine-tune LLMs for specific domain knowledge and use cases.
β’ Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
β’ Advanced verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills to communicate clearly and concisely technical and non-technical information to all levels of management.

β’ A.I. Model Optimization on GPU architecture. Leveraging C++, CUDA.
β’ Knowledge of Machine Learning Ops and CI/CD tools for automation of build, test, and deploy models in production environments.
