Role description
AI Engineer – Edinburgh or London (Hybrid)
£600 - £700 Per Day Inside IR35
6 Month Contract
AI Connect have 2 exclusive projects for AI Engineers to develop agentic solutions. One will be developing a mainstream customer service LLM to enhance its functionality with transactional insights. The other will be to augment a major decisioning platform to improve customer engagement.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Experience building and productionising LLMs or agentic solutions
• Optimisation experience, to better understand latency, cost and accuracy in the LLMs
• Full software development background with the ability to build scalable products
• Experience hosting open source LLMs or writing API calls for proprietary LLMs
• Evals experience to test systems using LLMs
• Observability platform experience using Langfuse, Langsmith or Braintrust advantageous
• Experience converting natural language queries to SQL queries
• Advanced Python skills for production code and experience with Fast API.
• Good knowledge of Jenkins/Git for CI/CD & Terraform for cloud deployments
