Role description
Nature and Scope of Job
The Marketing Associate will play a critical support role in executing account-based and AI-enabled marketing initiatives. This position will assist in developing and optimizing multi-channel campaigns, leveraging AI tools for audience targeting and content personalization, and analyzing performance data to drive continuous improvement. The role requires a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and curiosity about emerging marketing technologies, with a focus on supporting campaign execution, content creation, automation workflows, and data-driven insights across digital marketing channels.
Primary Responsibilities
• Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Support:
• Assist in the execution of multi-channel ABM campaigns (email, social, digital ads, webinars, content marketing).
• Help segment and analyze key accounts using AI tools and intent data to identify leads and optimize outreach.
• Create personalized content (e.g., case studies, white papers, presentations) using GenAI (e.g., GPT models).
• Design and conduct A/B tests to optimize campaign elements and performance.
• Monitor and analyze ABM campaign performance to refine and improve strategies.
• AI-Enabled Marketing Strategy:
• Leverage AI-powered tools to improve targeting, content personalization, and marketing automation.
• Support the integration of predictive analytics and machine learning into marketing workflows.
• Contribute to chatbot and AI-driven lead generation efforts.
• Research and propose emerging AI tools aligned with USDM’s marketing objectives.
• Content Development & Digital Marketing:
• Develop blogs, white papers, email campaigns, and microlearning videos using AI-based content tools.
• Optimize web content for SEO and track performance using analytics tools.
• Monitor social media performance and recommend enhancements based on engagement trends.
• Assist in creating educational content and conducting training sessions or workshops in basic AI, data analytics, and visualization techniques, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.
• Marketing Automation & Analytics:
• Support email campaigns and customer engagement workflows within platforms like Pardot or HubSpot.
• Track website and campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, Salesforce, Pardot, and build visual dashboards to present insights.
• Analyze post-event metrics to inform targeted messaging strategies.
• Automate competitive intelligence tracking using tools like Python or R to monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
Additional Responsibilities
• Stay current on trends in digital marketing, AI, and life sciences marketing best practices.
• Participate in team brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative campaign ideas.
• Support ad-hoc marketing projects or reporting requests as needed.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated interest in AI technologies, digital marketing, and account-based strategies.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and technologies (LinkedIn, YouTube, SproutSocial, Everyone Social) and SEO principles.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Basic proficiency in marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesfornce, Pardot, WordPress).
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Exposure to AI tools, data visualization (Power BI, Tableau), and CRM systems (Salesforce).
• Familiarity with A/B testing, PPC, or paid media.
• Introductory experience with scripting or analytics tools (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Certifications in digital marketing, AI/ML, or marketing analytics are a plus.

The base salary/hourly rate range represents the anticipated low and high end of the USDM’s compensation range for this position. Actual salaries/hourly rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described based on market survey data or budget.
Full-time employees are eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, short and long-term disability, hospital indemnity, accident, and critical care coverage.
