

AI / ML Engineer_Cincinnati, OH_Only on W2_No 1099/C2C
Our company has a client in Cincinnati, OH that is seeking an AI/ML Engineer.
Responsibilities
• Lead technical ML projects spanning months
• Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting growth among junior members
• Utilize patterns, frameworks, and tools for automating and deploying ML solutions
• Develop tools and processes to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
• Collaborate with researchers to optimize and scale ML solutions using DevOps and MLOps best practices
• Integrate LLM products into workflows
• Create metadata tagging schemas, document chunking strategies, vector databases, and infrastructure for RAG in GenAI workflows
• Design modularized AI and ML product architectures
• Integrate AI modules using orchestration or agentic AI frameworks
• Understand business requirements and balance scale, risk, and accuracy to maximize value
• Reduce time to delivery, automate ML pipelines, and implement continuous feedback and monitoring
• Conduct code/science reviews and QA sign-offs
• Apply documentation, version control, and internal communication practices
• Make time-sensitive decisions and solve urgent problems without escalation
Required Skills :
• Bachelor s degree or higher in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Statistics, or related field
• 4 years of experience developing cloud-based software solutions with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability
• 4 years of experience with advanced algorithms, programming languages, or technologies
• 2 years of hands-on experience building large-scale ML models, preferably as a data scientist; 2 years in emerging AI preferred
• 2 years of experience in tech consulting, retail, or related professional services preferred
• Must be able to work Central or Eastern Time zones
• Experience in full SDLC developing software solutions that scale, leveraging CI/CD and MLOps for development, testing, and deployment
• Experience building LLM-assisted products for inference or document retrieval and summary
• Excellent communication skills, especially on technical topics
• Strong time and project management skills; Ability to balance multiple work items and prioritize
• Preferred knowledge of deep learning methods
• Experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, MLLib, and MLFlow
• Knowledge of E2E ML pipeline and MLOps tools (e.g., model registry, experiment tracking, feature store, model monitoring)
• Hands-on experience with technologies like Azure, Spark, Nvidia Triton, and Databricks
• Strong Python skills
• Kubernetes and Docker experience
• CI/CD pipeline experience; GitHub Actions a plus
• Terraform experience
• API development experience a plus
