Role description

We’re seeking a Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in systems analysis, SQL development, ETL automation, and agile project leadership. You’ll play a key role in building and optimizing a state-level Data Integration Hub supporting mission-critical applications for public health and human services.

You’ll be part of an Agile team modernizing data pipelines using Oracle, Informatica (PowerCenter/IICS), and automated validation tools—delivering real impact for state-wide programs.

​

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

   • Lead technical development within an Agile data engineering team.

   • Design and develop ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter/IICS.

   • Write and validate complex SQL scripts for data transformation and integration.

   • Automate data acquisition from multiple sources for internal/external use.

   • Build Oracle database views and materialized views for dimensional modeling.

   • Participate in sprint ceremonies, story writing, and architectural discussions.

   • Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to refine requirements.

✅ Minimum Qualifications

   • 8+ years of experience in systems analysis and data engineering roles.

   • Strong expertise with Oracle SQL, Informatica PowerCenter/IICS.

   • Hands-on experience with data integration and transformation projects.

   • Experience working in Agile development environments.

   • Ability to document technical designs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
